Lanesboro Ibsen Festival 2007
Because of the building of a new theatre, the festival will take place the last week end in February. The featured Ibsen play for 2007 will be Ghosts, which in 2007 also will tour the region from late April to mid May. From May 8 ? 13, Ghosts will be performed at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis!! In conjunction with the festival and the tour, The Commonweal Theatre will offer master classes to the ?Norwegian ? American? Colleges and also to the ACT colleges in Minneapolis/St. Paul. Commonweal is also hoping to organize an event in cooperation with the Consulate General either in conjunction with the festival or the performance at the Guthrie Theatre.
